The
Lord Knows Your Innocence
The wicked lie in wait for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and seek to put them
to death.
The Lord will not leave
them in their hands, or [suffer them to]
condemn them when they are judged.
(Ps
37:32-33, AMP)
Many are the plots against the
righteous. Many are the false accusations that are aimed at bringing them down.
Many people brutally and ruthlessly vie for the blood of the uncompromisingly
righteous. The pillows of the righteous
are wet with tears of grief. They are wondering, “Why are all these lies spoken
against me? How can I prove my innocence? My reputation is being ruined, yet it
took me a very long time to build it up but just a single word spoken in
micro-seconds has ruined all my reputation. Who will ever believe me again? Who
will ever believe in my uprightness?”
You have a Bible character that went
through what you are going through. He endured the consequences of all the false
accusations yet he did not leave his position (Eccl 10:4). Even after he had
interpreted the dreams of the king’s servants he asked that he be remembered
when one of them resumed his duties. He failed to remember him because it
wasn’t yet time. In the fullness of time, God did come through for him in a
special way. He will eventually come through for you if you wait patiently for
Him (Ps 37:7a).
He has said vengeance is His. Persuade
yourself to sit back and wait on God’s due time to move on your behalf. He has
said the plans that He has for you are not meant to kill you. He has good plans
for you. He has promised that all things work together for good to those that
are called by His purpose. It is not your responsibility to try to prove to
everyone how innocent you are and how untrue the accusations about you are.
When nobody believes in you and when everyone is disappointed in you, be
assured God believes in you and He has proof of your innocence. Be assured He
is getting ready to prove your innocence, uprightness and righteousness. Just
be a little more patient. Exhibit the fruit of the Spirit which is patience and
longsuffering. He will eventually snatch you out of the fowler’s snare. It
shall be eventually well with you for you are His righteousness and He has
promised, the righteous will not be put to shame.
